We learn that the flat skill up rate is 10% (with the current event of x10 and having perma skill ups without KingTans).
Tans are outdated and simply said, those who are farming them are at a loss if they think that that’s the best way to skill up something up in today’s PAD.
On the other hand:
How do you feed XP to monsters?
Scenario A – Normal leveling (on feeding) [slow]
You feed your 100m XP dragon to your Karin Dragon, which happens to be the same color.
You end up with [on color bonus +50%] 150m XP before fusing, and you fuse getting a [Great! +50%], which further increases it.
It takes you like ~30 seconds each time (duration to do the feeding action/animations).
You actually got 225m XP.
ㅤ
Scenario B – Dungeon leveling (on dungeon clear) [slowest]
You run through Intensive Training Cave for 100m XP to your leveling slot monster.
The bonus 3x 30m XP dragons drops clouds your judgement.
You get 100m XP for whatever stamina you spent at the time, whether 150 or 7 stamina (pog).
Decide after a couple of runs if effort is worth the grind.
It takes you ~2 minutes each time (duration of run + animations pre/post dungeon).
You actually got 100m XP + (3x 30m XP Dragons before [color bonus] + [Great!/Super!])
ㅤ
Scenario C – EXP Stock leveling (on click) [fast]
You sell your 100m XP dragon and get 100m EXP Stock.
You feed 100m XP to your Karin Dragon through EXP Stock.
It takes you ~10 seconds each time (duration of going into Max Enhance>Max Level>Ok).
You actually got 100M XP + 100,000,000 coins + 100 Monster Points

So what is the tradeoff?
The general consensus is to fuse [on color] for the best bonuses. And from the way the game works, the most efficient way to do it is to fuse 1 by 1 to farm [Great!(1.5x) / Super!(2.0x)].
At this point of the game [Great!] is basically guaranteed so we would be farming for [Super!], theoretically.
During the earlier years of the game this was more prevalent when the Power-Up Fusion multiplier was lower, where we would be essentially doing the same thing, but farming for [Greats!] as well.
Obviously nobody actually feeds like this.
During the (2019-2021?) meta where Snow Globes were the main source for XP fodder, I could see the case for Normal feeding to be the best option. If I played then, I would be farming for globes, and only feeding on color to maximize my XP output. Although, Snow Globes also only sell for 1 MP.
In today’s fodder, the 30m/100m XP dragons – sell for 30 MP or 100 MP.
It narrows it down to two decisions, do you want:
1) [30m XP + Great!/Super!]
2) [30m XP + 30m coins + 30 MP].
or
1) I want XP
2) I want coins + MP [+ time]
Considering the fact that I want MP, option 2 would be my preferred option.
I personally think the time and sanity saved is significant enough for me to skip the [Great!/Super!] stuff and go straight for the Max Level button.
I used to be stingy with XP before the 7 stamina intensive training event. Now its kinda trivial – there’s only a select few monsters really worth manual feeding which are like the monthly Exchange units.
