
The numbers on your Unit [in their Attribute colors] is called Displayed ATK.
The number above their head with the multiplier is the Unit Multiplier.

0. PREPHASE – (Matching)
Starts: When you move the first orb
Ends: When you let go of the orb
Step where you do the physical puzzling.
1. SINGLE MATCH – Bonuses – (Bouncing number on unit every time [matching] orb disappears)

Starts: When first orb disappears (combo count going up)
Ends: After the board cascades to a dead board (looks like [no sky fall] for a quick second)
Your Displayed Attack (DA) will do a bounce animation when the [orb match disappearing], color matches the unit.
This step strictly discusses a SINGLE MATCH, to get the number shown on the unit BEFORE the “Combo x” text starts to disappear. There are ATK bonuses being applied as the orbs are being erased.
In a simple scenario, a 3-orb match would be deal x1.00 of ATK, so reflecting Monster Box Unit ATK.
[1A] Excess Orb Bonus
(applicable if you connected more than the 3 minimum – in a single match)
(if increased, the damage buff/enhance is applied to just that specific match / for that specific attribute)
- 3 orbs = x1.00 of ATK
- 4 orbs = x1.25
- 5 orbs = x1.50
- 6 orbs = x1.75
- 7 orbs = x2.00
- 8 orbs = x2.25

(applicable if you match the same color again or thrice, etc – in a turn)

IMPORTANT: Interaction between the two are ADDITIVE.

y is a placeholder to indicate where the [shapes multiplier] would take place if had T & VDP awakenings.

(applicable if you have the awakening AND create the shape(s) – in a match)

IMPORTANT:
Shape awakenings are MULTIPLICATIVE with the same type.
Shapes in conjunction with other shapes are ADDITIVE.
Shapes activation repeated are ADDICTIVE.

If I did a 6c match with all colors, with [1
awakening] on one unique color
then damage is [4.48×1.50 ATK]+[x0.00]+[x0.00]+[x0.00]+[x0.00]+[x0.00] = [x6.72 ATK] so far
The [x0.00] shows how the non-matching color orbs are taken into calculation.
If I did a 9c match, [and unit has 2
& 3
] awakenings (matched 1 each shape on a unique color)
then damage is [2*2.89×1.25 ATK]+[3*9.0×2.50 ATK]+[x0.00]+[…] =
7.225 ATK + 67.5 ATK = [x74.725 ATK] so far

[1D] Awakening: Enhanced Orb Bonus
(applicable if team has awakening and unit color is the same & used enhanced orb – in a match)

Because of of the clause being on team, it doesn’t matter who equips the awakening, all matching colors (to awakening) will benefit.
The number coming from this bonus is multiplied onto that specific MATCH in the same fashion shapes do, and then added with the rest of the ATK of the [same color matches].

2. Combo Bonus + Team Bonus
This step discusses the Unit Multiplier (UM) that appears on top of the unit.

Starts: When ‘combo 2’ disappears, and ALL numbers start bouncing
Ends: At the end damage result
The combos will start to count up one by one from “Combo 2” to “Combo x”, unless you have [Skip Combos] on in the options.

in the image to the left, my UM was briefly x1.0ATK due to only 1c of 3 darks (+3c from LS)

In a simple scenario, a [1c]&3-orb match would display a flat x1.00 damage, so you have the same ATK as on the team view.
[2A] Combo Bonus (multiply to UM)
(applicable if you matched than 1 combo. Multiplied to (UM))

- 2c = x1.25
- 3c = x1.50
- 4c = x1.75
- 5c = x2.00
- 6 orbs = x2.25
- 7 orbs = x2.50

if you matched the same color twice, the ATK is addictively increased (see [1B])
[2B] Leader Skills Bonus (multiply to UM)
LS with [matching condition for ATK] will apply their multiplier if the condition is met.
Units with no LS as lead, or leaders that are bound will have x1.0 as this value.
[2C] Awakenings: Global (multiply to UM)
These awakenings [stack/multiply with themselves as awakenings],
- (Global:Unit) Activation: Only once per turn
(These can be multiplied with each other [when conditions met] to get the UM for that specific unit) (see awakenings)
- (Global:Teamwide) Activation: Can be repeated for additive Color ATK bonus.
(It doesn’t matter who has equips these awakenings, all ATT matching awakening will benefit – could be on a totally off color unit)

[2D] Attribute pseudo Gravity
(applicable to all colors except main ATT. Multiplied to (UM))
Sub+2nd Sub-Attributes forego a gravity depending on their color conditions.
The multiplier will only show display of the highest output, (in a case where a unit has multiple attributes, and both are matched).
- Main Attribute (regular) = x1.00
- Sub Attribute = x0.33/ x0.10 / x0.15 / x1.00
- 2nd Sub Attribute = x0.05
